Xarelto

Xarelto

Xarelto is a prescription anticoagulant medication that prevents the formation of blood clots by blocking certain clotting proteins in blood. Xarelto is also used by people with atrial fibrillation (heart rhythm disorder) to reduce the risk of stroke caused by a blood clot; people trying to prevent or treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE); and by those seeking to reduce the risk of the formation of blood clots in the legs (DVT) and lungs (PE) after hip or knee replacement surgery.

Unfortunately, people taking Xarelto have suffered various harmful side effects, including

  • Gastrointestinal Bleeding,
  • Intracranial Hemorrhage,
  • Severe Internal Bleeding,
  • Stroke,
  • Death (due to one of the aforementioned injuries).

If you or a loved one were prescribed Xarelto and suffered any one or more of these side effects, a lawsuit may be an option.  Contact Mark Goldman or call (484) 342-0700.
